Schuyler Tilney serves as a Senior Advisor at the firm, working specifically with TPH’s ESE Group. Tilney was an early investor and principal in building oilfield services company, Select Energy Services LLC, from start-up to a $1 billion, publicly listed company. Tilney spent the majority of his career in investment banking, including Managing Director and Global Head of the Investment Banking Energy & Power Group at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., as well as a member of the Investment Banking Executive Committee. He has also held positions as a Managing Director at private equity company, White Deer Energy, and as Chief Executive Officer of midstream company, Cimmarron Gathering, LP. Tilney holds a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where he was an Edward Tuck Scholar.
